The intent of Pick-a-WooWoo Publisher's is to provide a central point, a hub, a loving space for us to provide tools that assist in the Mind Body Spirit development of all children. This is a place for those who understand that the children are our future. If you would like to take a more active role and join the team, there are many places where you may be of assistance. Listed below are some of the volunteer positions that we are looking to fill at this time.

How can I help?

There are many ways you can be a part of this family. Just by subscribing to our newsletter and forwarding it to friends and family does help. Or showing your support by participating and being there for others is important work here. We are interested in making a place for all to connect. Below we have listed some of the ways you can help us build this community. The focus of all the work at Pick-a-WooWoo is to help children and others realize their empowerment. It is our intention to take this message of empowerment mainstream. We're glad your with us. Together we are making a difference to our children.

Contributions:

If our work resonates with you and you wish to help us build this vision, we invite you to be a part of the Team. In this respect we are looking for assistance in a number of areas.

These range from simply being an advocate of our children's books and letting your local booksellers and friends know, becoming an affiliate to our website and selling product direct, becoming a home-seller and so much more.

Potential openings:

  • Web Graphics / Designers / Developers: we currently use a CMS system and it has some limitations that we would like to expand on...if you have experience in this are - we could always do with your help. We don't plan to monopolise your time but just having someone to bounce questions to helps immensely.

 

 

  • Sales support and follow ups: We have a listing of booksellers and from time to time just a friendly call to this listing allows us to keep in touch with our supporters and improve sales of our titles. If you have this gift to communicate and provide info - you would be most welcome.

 

 

  • Bookstore Management:   We have an active site for not only our own spiritual titles for children - but others books also. We can manage our titles in-house but we would love to have a responsible person to keep the titles rotating and finding new children's Books in our 'Other Books' section.  Some HTML markup knowledge helpful but we can train to use our simplified CMS system.

 

 

  • Editors:  We are constantly on the look out for professional editing due to the number of titles we are printing at any one time. Editors not only receive sets of Pick-a-WooWoo book for there contribution but also acknowledged in the printed book and on our website. (Must have some experience)

 

 

  • Translators: It is our intention to translate as many of our titles as possible. We are developing a database of translators and are particularly looking for Russian, Hebrew, Arabic, Croatian, Chinese, Danish, Norwegian, Swedish and others:

 

 

  • Bloggers / Writers / Content Providers:  In managing our everyday activities we are finding it difficult to keep up with helpful blogs to our network of parents, carers and many others. If you feel blogging on information for children, children's spirituality, spiritual parenting etc is your forte - we would welcome your support with open arms. Articles should preferably be no longer than 3000 words in length, and should be accompanied by a brief biography, photograph of the author, and details of books, services or web site links that you would like promoted in return.

 

 

  • Proof Reading & Corrections:  Web Angels are people who shine their Lights in all corners looking for anything out of place. Web Angels have the primary purposes of correcting mistakes or broken links on the sites.  To report Typos, Spelling and Grammatical errors please go here Corrections Page
