Christine Colquhoun (Author/Artist)

Christine Colquhoun is a married mother of two wonderful children and lives on the beautiful South Coast of NSW, Australia.
In earlier years, after obtaining a BA (majoring in Interior Architecture) at University of Technology, Christine worked as an Interior Designer, English teacher (in Japan) and furniture sales rep. Stopping paid work in 2000, to become a first-time mother, and dabble in her love of art. A chance encounter with a clairvoyant in 2003 who told her she had an Indigo child named Indigo, led her to re-awaken to her spiritual (and her children's) nature. She became very interested in children, in particular those described as 'Indigo & Crystal'. Her first book 'A Child Called Indigo' sprang from her creative state at this time.
Her latest book, 'The Little Sparkle In Me' written & illustrated in a similar boldly coloured, simplistic style emphasises that a divine little spark can be found in all of us. We only have to realise it is there, to make it shine brighter.
Christine presently works as a Teachers Aide with children on the Autism Spectrum, finding this work immensely fulfilling. Her life journey and learning is ongoing & rewarding every day.....
She can be contacted through Pick-a-Woo Woo Publishers.
